A historical source, a basic category of every research provides us with width and comprehensiveness of approach while observing historical processes. The Death Camps of Croatia: Visions and Revisions, 1941-1945

SRPSKI Book Description In The Death Camps of Croatia, Raphael Israeli shows that throughout Yugoslavia during World War II, anti-semitism was both deeply rooted and widespread. This book traces the circumstances and the historical context in which the pro-Nazi Ustasha state, encompassing Croatia and Bosnia, erected the death camps of Jadovno and Jasenovac. Israeli distills fact and historical record from accusation and grievance, noting that seventy years later, the gap in research and the collection of data, memoirs, and oral histories has become almost irreparable. This volume meets the challenge, basing its conclusions on evidence from participants from the period. The battle between the Serbs and the Croats is not likely to

Good Norwegians and Serbs in Norway and all over the world are very pleased that we have stopped attempts to falsify history.

Srpski Kristian Kahrs: I am pleased to inform you that we have won a complete victory over Croatian historical revisionists when it comes to Yugoslav partizans in Norwegian concentration camps.Attached you will see the protest written by the Serbian Union in Norway led by Boris Maksimović. The exhibition Thanking the people of Norway has previously been shown in at Falstad in Norway, and now the Croat Gorana Ognjenović planned to have it at the University of Oslo. A lot of good Norwegians has been involved in this, and Frank Alm Haugen made me aware of this. When Frank wrote me on Jan. 24, I immediately contacted the University of Oslo, Zorica Mitic, a Serbian doctor in Norway and Knut Flovik

COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE FOR SERBS OF GRUBISNO POLJE

Ćirilica A commemorative service was said today at the St. George Orthodox church in Grubisno Polje, Croatia, for 2,694 Orthodox Serbs from that area killed in WWII by the Croatian Ustashe. A commemorative assembly was afterwards held at the former Grubisno Polje train station, where in WWII the Ustashe loaded 504 Serbs onto cattle cars and took them to Zagreb, Koprivica and Gospic. Four hundred and eighty-seven of them were killed in the Gospic-Jadovno-Pag concentration The participants in the commemorative assembly also toured the killing grounds at Trandlerova Detelina and Kisov Jarak. “A most heinous crime, one revolting to the normal mind, was committed against our relatives from Bilogora and

PEACETIME STORM ERASING TRACES OF SERBS IN CROATIA

Ćirilica – The denial of Ustashe crimes and the reduction of the number of victims of the Ustashe in the Jasenovac Concentration Camp constitute a peacetime Storm operation by which Croatia is erasing in an orchestrated manner the centuries of existance of the Serbian people in Croatia, SRNA was told by the president of the Jadovno 1941 Association, Dusan Bastasic. “At a time when the Croatian people and state are shaken by huge economic problems, focusing on the Serbian problem is obviously welcome,” Bastasic says, commenting on the claims by Croatian historian and Catholic priest Stjepan Razum that Jasenovac “is a Greater Serbia myth, and not a concentration camp in

ANNIVERSARY OF USTASHE BLOOD ORGY ON PAG AND VELEBIT

Ćirilica On this day 71 years ago, the Croatian Ustashe conducted a mass murder of the remaining inmates of the Slana concentration camp on Pag Island and in the Jadovno concentration camp on Mount Velebit. At least 791 Serbs and Jews were killed on Pag Island and about 1,500 on Mount Velebit.  “Disgusted with the monstrosity of the crimes and the number of killed inmates, the Italian occupation forces took over the civilian and military authority in this area from the Nazi-puppet Independent State of Croatia (NDH) and ordered that the death camps be closed,” SRNA was told by the president of the Jadovno 1941 Association, Dusan Bastasic. Neonacist group

Ćirilica A new Bosnian Neo-Nazi group, the Bosanski Pokret Nacionalnog Ponosa (Bosnian National Pride Movement), is increasingly championing anti-Semitism in the country. Ninety-five percent of its members are Muslim. “The Jews have immense influence throughout the world—in [the domains of] politics, economy, culture, and religion,” the group writes on its website. “Freedom of speech is granted to a handful of ‘privileged’ politicians, journalists and functionaries that are puppets of the Zionist mechanism.” According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), this group reveres the alliance between Muslims and Nazis during World War II. Nazi memorial in Croatia a disgrace to Europe

Ćirilica A service for Hitler is unthinkable. So why is the world quiet in response to a service for Ante Pavelić? Imagine for a minute that memorial masses were held in two major cities in Germany on the anniversary of the death of Adolf Hitler. Needless to say, such a ceremony would arouse fury, indignation, and widespread protests not only in Germany, but throughout the entire world. Last week, the local equivalent of such an event took place in Croatia, but instead of anger and demonstrations, not a single word of protest was heard from anywhere in the country. I am referring to the December 28 memorial masses conducted in
